OneWorld Challenge, on the other hand were still on the course with boat speed of 0.5knots and Virtual Spectator showing an ETA of plus or minus 77:00:00. The entire race saw both yachts racing from 0 knots to 10 knots of boat speed.

Late on the third leg, the wind gods smiled upon Prada, as they seemed to catch every breath on the course while the afterguard of OneWorld could find nothing but holes. Prada rounded the last upwind leg 14 minutes and 14 seconds ahead.

Although Prada won this race, they are eliminated from future competition by a score of 3-2.
